When 8:30 struck the clocks, Johnson was the only thing we wanted to see on our television announcing some very important news.

For the past week at five pm, journalists have been swamping the three stands with many repetitive questions about Covid-19 and people not listening to the advice being given.
Today we are officially on a more lenient style lockdown and Boris Johnson has in theory grounded and sent us all to our bedrooms.
Here what we have been granted:
One form of exercise per day (dog walk, run, bike-ride)
Only go to the supermarket for essentials (medicines, food, alcohol)
Only key workers can go to and from work (NHS, supermarket staff)
To seek medical help
I made a joke yesterday that my one form of exercise was going to last from morning to evening but i know it really is something we all need to take seriously and respect to make sure we all recover from this pandemic.
The Prime Minister announced the police now have the power to enforce these rules by fining and seperating large groups of people. Honestly, this is one of the biggest restrictions that has been put on our nation and it will go down in history.
There are further measures implimented by Johnson on a wider range by saying no to weddings, social gatherings, batisms and large groups of people are going to be dispersed by the law. Funerals are still able to go ahead and parks will remain open for our daily exercise.
But this leaves us with the question, how long until people abuse the things we once took for granted and for the Prime Minister to have no choice but to impliment heavier restrictions?
Just please, please listen and stay at home. As Boris Johnson well said "Turn the tide on this invisible killer."
(I mean how many times at work have we wished we were at home with a cup of tea and feet up...)
Stay smiling,
Z
