Everybody put your hands together this evening for our NHS

Open your doors and windows as far as they can go and spread our appreciation for our dedicated NHS staff. Let communities unite (remembering the 2 meters) and stand with our self-isolation partners to resonate the streets by putting our hands together so the local hospitals can hear.

One hour from now (8pm) we will be in our doorways, windows, balconies across the UK to #clapforourNHS which is trending on Twitter right now- and so it should. our frontline staff are working long, tiresome days which we know we can't even begin to match, but with this act of kindness, the nation wants them to know JUST how grateful we are and we hope it makes you smile while touching your hearts.

Well, what would we do without our NHS staff? it's like saying what would I do without our mothers, it's impossible and we wouldn't be here without them. With the Coronavirus pulling the world down, the front liners are holding our hands to pull us back up by helping those infected and putting their lives at risk every day. Or should I say, every second they are giving- putting our lives before their own!

Dutch Londoner, Annemarie Plas wants the UK to make a noise for those fighting and the doctors and nurses standing head on to Covid-19. She saw how heart-felt and warming other places like Italy looked when everyone joined in to show their love.

Despite the ignorant people not listening to Boris Johnson about staying at home, the majority has and I hope the 'not' lockdown has relieved some of the pressures of the local hospitals. Derriford hospital is just up the road for me and I want them to hear us loud and clear.

Everyone, I mean every single person needs to put their hands together and make sure we stand together and chime the streets with happiness and say thank you for your dedication and passion to help us in this pandemic.
